In honor of 29 years on the planet, today I took 30 minutes and wrote down 95 things for which I am grateful.
I feel more at ease and refreshed. Here are some less conventional examples from my list:
– I’m alive
– The sky
– Not living in North Korea
– Eye contact
– A private bathroom
– Uncured bacon
I consciously practice gratitude 5 days in a week in my Five Minute Journal. It’s absolutely changed my perception of the world. Do I still get sucked into grumpiness and worry? Yes, absolutely. But re-fueling the Gratitude Tank helps to cultivate more cushioned margin in my life.
I’m certainly grateful for my modern technological access to create this website. And most important, I’m grateful for anyone who has paused to read this blog over the past 9 months. I hope it has provided you value, and new ways of thinking.
