Nothing is senseless – everything has a root cause.
Human needs are at the root of even the most destructive action – often needs for empathy, visibility, and to matter.
And, those inner critics, those inner voices of self-hate?
Those voice are trying to get needs met too, but they are masked with memes that block the need for compassion.
Offering acceptance and compassion for the judgmental voices, then, is the first step.
