What is self-esteem?
It’s not telling yourself you’re great.
But it’s watching yourself be great.
It’s your relationship with your mind, with your choice to think or not to think.
And it’s seeing yourself choose courage, choose consciousness, choose reality.
But it’s also accepting your fallibility, accepting the stumbles on your journey, and believing you are worthy of happiness regardless.
And it’s seeing yourself choose empowerment, not deny response-ability.
Self-esteem is saying yes when you want to say yes, and no when you want to say no.
And lastly, it’s following through on your consciously chosen values-knowing yourself, and being yourself.
“Happiness is when what you say, do, and think are in harmony.”
Now that‘s the good life. 🙂
