Sleep is a superpower and you know it.
So quit saying, “oh yeah, everyone needs more sleep, huh! Too bad.”
Sure, self-empathy for the challenge of getting quality sleep is legit.
But when you see sleep as a skill, you can begin to practice.
Start with the low-hanging fruit like get sunshine first thing in the morning, avoid alcohol, keep the temperature cool at night.
Then commit to improving your skill 1% a day.
Turn off Netflix.
Maybe get a houseplant.
Get a red light bulb.
Buy magnesium.
Start waking up at the same time each day, even weekends. (That’s a super skill).
