Most people forget they’re going to die, so they never live the life they truly imagined.
If instead, what if you remained in a state “oh, wow, this things is finite!”? Then you might see the preciousness of each day, and not f*ck around anymore (psychedelics can also help tap into this preciousness).
A key to regret-free living is forging a path true to yourself. Actually, it starts with committing to gaining self-knowledge AND forging a path true to yourself, to come alive and follow your bliss. Know thyself. Be thyself.
Regret-free living also means expressing your feelings with those who matter, and not holding back. When you realize that on your deathbed, it’s totally silly to care what others will think, or that “it’ll be awkward,” you center yourself on the opportunity for meaningful connection through vulnerability, through allowing yourself to be seen for you truly are. For if you are loved but you are not showing who you are, will you truly receive that love?
Be real with yourself and others, and go for it in this life. What a joyous and incredible gift we all have! Will we capitalize on it?
