Docility and Personal Power

We became tamed horses.

It started when we were compelled to stand in line and sit still, on Day 1 of kindergarten.

That training went deep for 12 years.

Then, we became adults.

We got into debt, we lived without definitive purpose, we self-medicated with Cheetos.

The NSA accessed our records, the TSA demeaned our respect, and Facebook stole our attention.

We accepted “this is how things are,” and tried to make the best of it.

Then.

We found our inner child.

The 5-year old who didn’t want to stand in line.

He wanted to sprint, to win the Kentucky Derby.

We let him speak, and we started creating.

We started thinking.
We started playing.
We started asserting.
We started not giving a fu*k about what others thought.

We started directing our own lives.

We started to get healthy, happy, and pursue what makes us comes alive.

We started changing the world, by Starting with Self.
