Lean

Lean.

As in, lean into the discomfort.

This is the key to authenticity, love, purpose, connection.

When you want to tell a person what you really think or feel, and you sense that tiny fear that you will not be accepted, lean in.

When you want to chase your dream, but that voice tells you it’s not safe because you’ll stand out from the crowd, lean in.

Muster courage.

When it’s all said and done, you’ll be glad you did.

The number 2 regret of the dying is: “I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.”

The number 3 regret is: “I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to self, not the life others expected of me.”

In the end, none of those worries and fears matter.

We’ve got one shot at this thing.

Lean in, and come alive.
