Leadership

No one is coming to take care of you.

The lizard-brain desire to be supported, comforted, and rested is real and valid.

But it’s no substitute for personal response-ability.

It’s not substitue for self-leadership.

You can outsource your decision making, but you are still the one doing the outsourcing.

A high self-esteem individual is a self-leader who acts with clarity, purpose, and conviction in accordance with consciously chosen priorities.

He sees the parts of him that yearn for support or ease, and he sees and hears those parts.

But then, he goes forward as captain in command of his own ship.

He welcomes friends, fans, and partners.

But he never sacrifices free will.

He knows that everything is a choice.
