ROI

Look at each action, each moment, each choice as investment.

Flex the muscle of delayed gratification – in each element of life: money, health, productivity, friendships- and you will reap the harvest continually.

This means doing the HARD thing in the moment:

– hard, open conversation with friend
– hard choice to cook meals in advance
– hard choice to get to bed early
– hard choice to create rather than consume
– hard to choice to move through Resistance and tackle hard project

Hard things mean ROI.

But what about living in the moment, you know, carpe diem?

I’m not saying never “spend” your time. Saving and investing without ever cashing in is ascetic.

But is there not great joy is living with purpose towards hard, meaningful aims?
