“Good Person”

Nearly all of us think of ourselves as a “good person.”

And I believe it. Almost everyone simply wants to be happy, to be peaceful, to flourish.

But I invite you to take inventory of your beliefs and actions.

Own 100% responsibility for how you may (by accident) further human systems that conflict with peace and flourishing.

If you punish your child, that’s not life-enriching.
If you support governments (which kill people left and right), it’s not life-enriching.
And if you love government schools, that’s not life-enriching.

Don’t beat yourself up, We need to get rid of the right-wrong paradigm, anyway.

But honesty matters. Take a look at the facts of these systems. Become curious and logical.

Then ask, are you living a life congruent with what your professed values?

Do that, and peace will flourish.

And your own happiness quotient, too.
